Lanie is 4 months old holy cow where is the time going. Yesterday I packed up all her newborn clothes, swaddles, 4 oz bottles, and some blankets. It was a little sad, but at the same time it is so fun to watch her grow and learn new things everyday. Last week was her 4 month doctor appointment and she is a rock star. Lanie now is weighing in at 13 lbs 10 oz and is 25 in long. So she is still long and skinny another Wade feature. She only had to get two shots this time, but it was so sad because before she even got the shot she saw it and her big lip came out and the crying started. Other than a little pain from the shot the Dr. Marx said Lanie is doing amazing.
This past weekend was the big Ramsey family camping trip we do every year at the end of June. I think this year was the 7th or 8th year we have been doing it for a long time. It is jam packed family time, swimming, cooking, a talent show (yes I have video I will get it up when Mark helps me), and just loads of fun. It was so great to have Lanie with us this year. I am not going to lie I was a little nervous with bringing her camping and being off her routine and not sleeping in her crib, but she proves us wrong once again. Lanie was a born camper and was so good. She didn't do much swimming though because she was a little fussy and her Great Aunt Peg sang her to sleep and she slept for 3 hours on the beach(side note Lanie is not a napper).
