The Farm

I know that Evansville is not a big city, but its a lot bigger than Planville, IN where Mark grew up.  Mark grew up on a farm where his back yard was endless where my back yard had a fence around it.  When I started dating Mark and visiting the Wades they must have thought I was just silly.  I had endless questions about tractors, corn, and anything related to how a farm works.  Then to make it even better my brother in-law runs a turkey farm that also has goats, horses, and sheep!  Mark and I get up there about once a month sometimes more or less depending on our schedule in Evansville.  A couple summers ago we went to Christi's house (the one with the animals!) I think they get a big kick out of how little I know about farms. Anyhoo Steve my brother in-law let me drive some of their tractors around. To this day that is one of my favorite memories since joining the Wade family.  For my birthday that year they had taken pictures of me driving one of the tractors happy as a clam and framed it.  I love going up there to visit and even though Mark would love to live out in the country we have come to an understanding that I have to be at least 10 min away from a wal-mart or grocery store.  Which is awesome since we are looking for houses now and have found several that meet that criteria :) I love all my conveniences of living in Evansville, but its good to know that Lanie has a place to go to experience things that I didn't get to until I was 25. Not to mention all the Amish families she will get to see!!!! I have a small obsession with them when we go up to visit I point them out like its a wheres waldo game. Here is some pictures from our latest visit to the Wade farm :)
