Lanie first Fall Festival

There is a magical time in Evansville, IN that is always the first full week of October.  During this time just simply imagine anything that you could fry and guess what....I bet you the fall festival has it! Last year Lanie was in Mommy's tummy and got to enjoy all the yummy food.  This year since she still has yet to cut a tooth Lanie got just one small taste of Grandpa Danny's cobbler and ice cream, but she got to do all the people watching her little heart could take.  On saturday Lanie along with her friends Norah, Will, and Landon plus dogs Lucy, Mike, and Buffy all enjoyed the pet parade.  We were a family farm and even though our group was not the biggest and best we sure were the cutest (or atleast we thought so!).  Lanie and Mike were sheep and I thought it would be a good idea Friday night to check to see if Lanie's outfit I had bought her was still going to work.  Well I am glad I did because it was to short and Lanie hated it.  So I was off to wal-mart to return with cotton balls and black felt.  I spent the night hot glue gunning cotton balls to a white onesie and making ears for my little lamb.  Lanie loved the costume so much she felt the urge during the parade to pick the cotton balls off and try to eat them.  We had such a fun time and can't wait till next year our group has decided maybe we need to get on it a little sooner after seeing some of our competition!
